Honourably Isachsen

During the opening ceremony of the so-called ‘Sverre Isachsen Museum’ in the the motor-loft of the Sanden Hotel in his hometown of Hokksund in Norway hat-trick European Rallycross Champion Sverre Isachsen, as a member of the club KNA Eiker, was surprised by Hallgeir Raknerud, the Secretary General of the ‘Kongelig Norsk Automobilklub’ (KNA) [Royal Norwegian Automobile Club] with the KNA Sports Medal in Gold. In the over 100 years history of the KNA the medal has only been awarded once before, in 2003 to Petter Solberg after the former Rallycross driver had won the World Rally Championship title.
