Münnich Motorsport tests at the Estering attended by Markus Winkelhock.
On Saturday April 16, during a test day at the Estering near Buxtehude in Germany, all-inkl.com principal René Münnich presented his over the winter completely revised Škoda Fabia II Supercar with a new livery. The design has been thought up by Hoesedesign of Michael Höse from Wesel, who is also a member of the Off-Road Commission of the DMSB, the German ASN.
To the big surprise of the organising ACN Buxtehude no one less than the ex-Spyker Formula One pilot, DTM racer and current FIA GT1 World Championship leader (with a 600+bhp Lamborghini Murciélago LP670 RS-V) Markus Winkelhock was also present as personal guest of Münnich Motorsport. For the first time ever Winkelhock drove a 4WD race car on a Rallycross track, using a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 as a ‘taxicab’ for the more plucky members of the ACN. Münnich later that day: “If Markus would like to take part in a real Rallycross event, like his team colleague Marc Basseng already did, I would be pleased to offer him a drive…”
