The statement follows news that the FIA’s move to electrify the World Rallycross Championship will be delayed until 2022. “Since the delivery of the first Projekt E car to Holten Motorsport in November, we have built further cars and continue to do so. We are looking forward to the Projekt E cars competing against each other when circumstances allow,” said STARD CEO Michael Sakowicz.

27 April    The NRV, the rallycross organiser at the Eurocircuit in Holland, responds to the Dutch government’s ban on mass gatherings until 1 September with a statement that admits “A championship seems hardly feasible this year.” The club plans to update the information on 20 May and is looking forward to celebrating it’s 50th anniversary next year: “The NRV board certainly also focuses on the future of rallycross in the Netherlands. And a bright future for the Eurocircuit, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in the coming year. 2020 seems to be a lost rallycross season, but this year will be used to prepare a fantastic rallycross season next year. A rallycross season that does justice to our sport and the rich half-century history of the Eurocircuit.”
