Polo festival at Greinbach

With Anton Marklund, Christian Petrakovits and Kris Rosenberger winning the Rallycross Supercar, Rallycross two-wheel drive and rally four-wheel drive classes in the Race of Austrian Champions event, the season closer at Greinbach’s PS Racing Center was a VW Polo festival. Marklund’s Supercar win came in his new Polo, home boy Petrakovits was best of the two-wheel drive Rallycross entry with his usual Polo IV Super1600 machine and Rosenberger scooped the rally win with his Super2000 Polo.

The second running of the event was great success, “We started the event last year and this time it was even better, I can see that we have something that can grow into a very good end of season event,” said circuit boss Erich Petrakovits, “We get spectators from Rallycross, rally and autocross, they crossover and see other kinds of racing. We will definitely do this event again at the end of next year, it’s here to stay!”
