For the fifth and final round of the Swedish Rallycross Championships the competitors went on Saturday September 24 to the Kinnekulle Ring at the shores of lake Vänern and near Götene, the hometown of Kenneth Hansen. While in the previous four rounds of the series TouringCar drivers had to compete with the National2400 contenders this time they had their own races. With the result that Anton Marklund, the only TC RWD campaigner, did not get points for the championship.

The Swedish SuperNationals lost their race to Norwegian guest driver Terje Morstad, but the title went to Patrik Ydrefalk, unless the Toyota campaigner finished the event on sixth place only. In the National2400 category Per Berglund claimed his first event victory as well as the title. Among the Juniors BMW youngster Tommy Johansson bagged the third event win to snatch the title away from make colleague Oskar Andersson. And in the TouringCar A final it was Norwegian BMW 1-series driver Ole Habjørg who made the event victory his, leaving the other two places on the rostrum to the Ford Fiesta men Lars Rosendahl and Irish guest starter Derek Tohill.
