Police provide test facility for injured racer.

Injured motocrosser/allround action game hero Travis Pastrana had a test with his newly modified Subaru – getting to try the hand controls at the driver training centre of the Los Angeles Police Department! Pastrana said on his Facebook page: “At the police academy where the LAPD was nice enough to let me get some practice with the hand controls at their road course. Still trying to make it happen for tomorrow. Stay tuned!” So far it looks as though the Subaru driver will take part in the Rallycross today. The pictures below come from the test session and show the hand operated throttle arrangement engineered by Subaru Rally Team USA.
