Running up that hill

The 89th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is on.

Beside the Norwegian ERC round at Hell this weekend has also the 89th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) on offer. Rallycross World’s American correspondent Greg Drozd is at the spot to watch the ‘Race To The Clouds’. Some days prior to the event Greg drove with his own car up to the summit and took video pictures of the track, that has in 2011 only about 20% of its gravel surface left. As the entire drive-up took our man about 30 Minutes and, thereby, about the threefold time to break the 10 Minutes barrier [LOL!], he shortened the video by double the running speed down to 15 Minutes.
