Finnish championship at Kitee

Quadruple champion Atro Määttä back on winning route.

The third round of the Finnish Rallycross Championship was held on Saturday June 18 at the Tolosenmäen Moottorirata at Kitee. The Supercar A final saw the first 2011 victory of the 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2009 Finnish champion Atro Määttä and his Ford Focus I. Ford Fiesta VI driver Ari Perkiömäki grabbed the second place and, thereby, taking the lead of the Finnish series away from Honda Civic VIII campaigner Sami Pakkala who finished fourth behind Jukka Lautamäki (Ford Focus I). The SRC category fell prey to Joni-Pekka Rajala and his Volvo S40 I while the Ford Escort VII drivers Jukka-Pekka Peltokangas and Jari-Pekka Kokko claimed second and third place respectively.
