Zylauv, Linnemann, Nielsen and Daarbak winning the Nisseringen event.

The third round of the Danish Rallycross Championship was held under bright sunshine at the Nisseringen at Næstved and offered some exciting Rallycross action. ERC regular Ulrik Linnemann was back to DKRC business after missing its second round due to his participation at Essay in France. Although Jacob Schnoor was chasing Linnemann all day long and Rune Staudt proved once again to be one of the top men it was that fast Peugeot 207 campaigner who claimed the second Super1600 victory in his native series.

While the up to 1600cc Group N class saw the third win of Kasper Zylauv as well as three Honda Civic drivers on the podium the Super2000 category had in Rasmus Nielsen another Honda Civic driver on offer who claimed his third 2011 victory in a row. However, in a last minute attempt Jakob Teil Hansen (Ford Fiesta VII RWD) had passed Nielsen but was eventually placed eighth and last of the A final for ignoring the yellow flag. The Danish SuperNational class is pretty small but quite entertaining. After winning the first event at Nysum Volvo S40 pilot Troels Daarbak picked also the laurels at the Nisseringen to extend his championship lead. (Based on information by Thomas Jacobsen.)
