German championship, Buxtehude

René Münnich claims German DRX series opener.

More than 2000 spectators wittnessed the first round of the German Rallycross Championship at the Estering near Buxtehude, the event counting also towards the Belgian Rallycross Championship. In the Supercar category no one was able to stop René Münnich from winning the race while Rolf Volland dominated the Super1600 class likewise and claimed the first victory of the season too.
