Jürgen Weiß wins third round of the Austrian Rallycross Championship at the Nordring.

The third round of the Austrian championship was held at the Nordring of Fuglau near Horn and won by Ford Focus driver Jürgen Weiß ahead of Czech Mitsubishi Lancer campaigner Aleš Mrkáček. Third place went to Tristan Ekker with his first of the two VW Polo IV versions while reigning Austrian champion Alois Höller had secured himself the Pole for the A final by setting twice the fastest qualifying times (in the 1st and 2nd heat), but was not able to get very far in the final race. After an incident with Mrkáček the Austrian Rallycross veteran found himself back at the guardrails of the track as well as forced into retirement.
