Ulrik Linnemann wins the first round of the DKRC.

The opening round of the Danish Rallycross Championship was held on May 7 and 8 at the Nysumbanen (on the Himmerland peninsula) near Hobro in the North Jutland Region. There were many good races to watch during the day and especially the Super1600 class offered value for money. There was close fighting among the top five or six competitors, and although ERC regular Ulrich Linnemann seemed superior it was not quite the case. Drivers like Jacob Schnoor, Rune Staudt and Peter Lindgaard were on Linnemann’s heels for most of the day, and also in the finals the competition was close. However, eventually it ended all up with a well deserved victory for Linnemann while Jacob Schnoor and Rune Staudt made it to second and third place respectively.
