Thommy Tesdal wins while Daniel Holten rolls.

Round 1 of the Norwegian Rallycross Championship was held in front of 3,000+ spectators at the Eikås Motorsenter of the harbour town of Bergen. Victory of the Class 1 was claimed by Opel Corsa driver Thommy Tesdal while BMW 1-series pilot Ole Håbjørg made it to the top of the Class 2 rostrum and Per Jørgensveen powered his older Volvo S40 version to a win in the Class 3. Renault Super1600 campaigner Andreas Bakkerud, who lives in the Bergen area, did not take too much of risk during his home event to take care that his Clio II will be in top shape for the ERC round of Portugal next weekend. Citroën youngster Daniel Holten did exactly the opposite and rolled his Super1600 Saxo heavily during the third qualifying runs.
