Germans on ice

While the Münnich Motorsport mechanics prepared the cars at the team HQ in Friedersdorf ahead of an April test day and the FIA European championship’s first round at Lydden, the All-Inkl.com drivers prepared for the season by joining an Audi driving experience near the polar circle at Arjeplog* in Sweden. Held on a frozen lake, the course provides the opportunity for the drivers to improve their drifting skills. Now everyone in the team is counting the days to Easter weekend when the new ERC season commences at the legendary Rallycross circuit of Lydden Hill.

*Arjeplog, in the north of Sweden, is well known as a winter testing venue for car manufacturers, and boasts a Rallycross link of its own as the home town of 1988 Swedish champion and former ERC competitor with Audi Sport quattro S1, Sven Lestander. The Audi driving experience in which the drivers took part also has a link to Rallycross, Rolf Volland and former driver Jan Becker among the instructors used by the international programme.
