3 November  /  GCK Motorsport confirms that its long-awaited Lancia Delta will make its World RX debut at Nurburgring in the final round of the 2022 FIA World Rallycross Champioinship. “I am very happy to be back in World RX, a year after my last participation on this same Nürburgring circuit. One thing is certain, our Lancia Delta Evo-e RX will stand out among the modern cars that make up this championship … now we need a little time to understand the car and to improve it in order to make it competitive. I can’t wait to be on the track,” said GCK boss Guerlain Chicherit who will drive the first car in Germany.

5 November  /  Victory in the tenth round of the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship gave Patrick O’Donovan the championship crown with a round in hand, and made the 18-year-old the youngest ever British Champion.  Top qualifier and winner of his semi-final despite stalling his Fiesta Supercar on the startline, O’Donovan walked away with victory in the rain affected final to claim the championship’s coveted GB1 race number. Julian Godfrey and Derek Tohill completed the podium in the first day of the scheduled double-header.

6 November  /  The Stewards at the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship instruct the Clerk of the Course to abandon the event on grounds of safety. Overnight rainfall and a yellow weather warning led the decision. The Supercar category alone was on a double-header event format, other classes had completed some or all of their qualifying heats on Saturday. Event and championship results are to be confirmed.

This weekend  /  Nurburgring hosts the final round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event also features the final of the FIA European Rallycross Championship for RX3. Both titles are won, so the racing is for the podium places and for the event victory. Nitro RX  moves on to Phoenix  for its fifth event of the 2022-23 campaign and Irish RX resumes at Mondello Park. Delayed from 22 October because of bad weather, the final round of the Portuguese Championship takes place at Lousada utilising the date originally held by the Cup event scheduled for Baltar.
