Holte reveals Hyundai i20 rallycross Supercar

Frode Holte Motorsport will reveal its Hyundai i20 Supercar, built for the FIA World Rallycross Championship, this afternoon when it takes part in its local at the Sorlandets Motorsport Show.
Holte and his team have been had at work on the unique new Hyundai for months and have targeted the local event in its home town of Mandal in the south of Norway to reveal the car. Built along traditional lines, the i20 uses a longitudinally-mounted engine.
A World championship campaign is uppermost in Holte’s thoughts, but the Norwegian is still finalising his plans. “We have worked with this car for a long time, no one has built a car like this for supercar before and we are very excited to start preparing for the season, we have a lot of testing to do before we are ready,” said Holte. “I really want to drive WorldRX this year but I am not sure yet if that’s possible for us in 2014, if not we are going for EuropeanRX that’s for sure.”
Ahead of the show, Holte has provided a few quick phone pictures of the car…
