Hero to zero

Yesterday Estonian Sten Oja was in many the outstanding Supercar driver, a superb run in his old Mitsubishi Lancer E6 seeing him mixing it with more experienced drivers in much better cars. Today the hero became a zero, crashing into Stig-Olov Walfridson’s stationary Renault in the second heat despite the fact that there were double waved yellow flags on the approach to the incident. Oja may not have seen the yellows, but the Stewards saw red and have excluded him from the event.
