Track conditions are changing

The first free practice just passed here in Kouvola. With the changing weather conditions, rain and cold this early morning, now clouded and sun. The track is getter faster and faster. The late starters had a benefit from that, tyre choice will also be an important issue to set a fats time on the clock. The last group that has started in the free practice has put on the fastest times in this first practice session of the ninth round of the European rallycross Championship 2012 here in Finland (Kouvola). The both Renault Clio Supercar from Mats Lyssen and Stig-Olav Walfridson are on top. French driver Davy Jeanny is two-hundreds of a second slower then “Stecka’ . Best Finnish driver is Atro Määttä on eight spot followed by Timmy Hansen and Peter Hedström. Ildar Super1600 and Derek Tohill in the Touringcars.
