Allez Jeanney

On the pace and in the mix from the start of the event, Davy Jeanney posted fastest time in the third heat, Tanner Foust winning the last race of the heat but unable to match the Frenchman’s mark. The pair will join Timur Timerzyanov on the front row of the A final grid, Liam Doran and Michael De Keersmaecker on the second row with Stig-Olov Walfridson the last direct qualifier. The B final is packed with top names including three former event winners and looks like being a very tough race. Peter Hedström crashed out but will get to the finals, if he can fix the damage to his Skoda.

Beaten to the first corner in his race, Andreas Bakkerud made clever use of the Joker Lap and came back to win and set fastest time in the third heat, earning pole for the Super1600 A final where he will line up next to Set Promotion colleague, Joni Wiman. In his best run of the year, René Münnich is last man into the A final in sixth place, the front row of the B final holding Vadim Makarov, Ulrik Linnemann and Christian Petrakovits.

Fastest time in the third heat was the perfect result for Anton Marklund who locked up pole for the TouringCar A final and will share the front row of the grid with Koen Pauwels and Robin Larsson. Derek Tohill qualified sixth after two god drives today, but will drop to the back of the B final grid as the result of a penalty for having opened the engine in his Fiesta last night.
