Phone call

Triple European Rallycross champion Sverre Isachsen has just told RallycrossWorld.com that he will not race this Easter weekend at Lydden Hill where the 2012 European championship starts. We had the triple champion on the phone for a few minutes just after he got off the plane back from England to his home in Norway. Asked if he will race at Lydden Hill, the answer from the 2009, ’10 and ’11 Supercar champion was plain and short. “No!”. On the question of perhaps starting his season in the second round of the ERC at Dreux in France. Isachsen said, “I cannot and will not give any further comments. First thing is now that we have a meeting with the team, discuss the options and then Isachsen Motorsport will make a statement. Sorry that I can not say anything more. We will send out a press release,” he said. It is not known when the press release from Isachsen Motorsport will be issued.
