Under the wings

One of its biggest challenges ever is this year facing 14-times European Rallycross Champion Swede Kenneth Hansen. In total the team of Hansen Motorsport caries seven drivers under his wings. “It was considerably easier and calmer when I raced myself”, says the multiple European champion. “But to be able to work with youngsters like these is really encouraging and stimulating. They have exactly the kind of energy and passion I can remember during my first years of competition”.

Number one driver in the team is the 24 year old Russian Supercar-driver Timur Timerzyanov. Timerzyanov was third on the ERC in 2011. Expectation in the Hansen Motorsport team are that there are great possibilities that their number one driver can take the gold in in his Citroën DS3 in the 2012 season. Norwegian Alexander Hvaal (19 years) is driver number two in the team. Hvaal can maybe set up a few fine performances with his Hansen Motorsport Supercar Citroën C4 during the upcoming season. Swede Johan Larsson is next one in the Supercar line-up. The 25 year old driver will compete this season in a few ERC events in a Hansen Supercar Citroën C4. The 22 year old Erik Färén (S) will race in the Super1600 in a Citroen C2. Färén has high ambitions in the tough Super1600 racing-class.

Hansen Motorsport has young drivers in their drivers line-up for 2012. The youngest ones in the team start racing in the new category JRX (Junior RallyX). The JRX will act as a support class, beginning in round five (Norway) of the European Championship.  Kevin Hansen (14) is the son of Kenneth and Susann Hansen and steps with a JRX car into his favorite sport, rallycross, after spending a few years in karting. Besides Kevin, Ada Marie Hvaal (14) and Magda Andersson (14) will make in norway their first steps into the Rallycross with their JRX racingcars.  Timmy Hansen is with his 19 years, the oldest son in the Hansen family. Timmy races also under the Hansen Motorsport flag, not in rallycross but in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.
