Holte pulls the plug on GRC!

by Eddi Laumanns |

US focussed Volvo campaigner Frode Holte has pulled out of the 2012 Global Rallycross Championship with immediate effect. The Norwegian’s website since last night contains the following information:

“Frode Holte Motorsport is sad to announce that the 2012 GRC season is terminated. The negotiations between Michael Crawford Motorsport and Frode Holte Motorsport were ended by FHM 5 February.

FHM has pushed Patrick J. Abbott and MCM to get a contract on an earlier stage, but when it finaly arrived in mid January, it was not as expected. Therefore FHM was unable to commit to this, and the only solution was to pick up the car and head home to Norway again.

It is sad that this is the end of what we thought was a new adventure.

What the future brings is not easy to say. Follow us on Frodeholte.com and on our Facebook page for latest news.”
