PJ Abbott joins Frode Holte at MCM

American circuit racer PJ Abbott (below pictured together with Frode Holte) has been named as the second driver in Michael Crawford Motorsports’ Global Rallycross Championship programme. The 47-year-old, who has also worked with MCM in management areas, will drive in a ‘limited 2012 schedule’ while also looking after team operations. MCM’s campaign will be lead by Frode Holte who has moved his Volvo C30 Supercar to America. MCM has also struck a technical partnership with Ingvar Gunnarsson Motorsport which designed and built Holte’s car. Former US Marine Abbott’s car will carry the colours of the ‘Tribute To Heroes’ campaign (see video clip below).
