Holte set for full 2012 GRC programme

Today the team of Volvo C30 Supercar campaigner Frode Holte released the news that the 29-year-old is not taking part in the 2012 ERC, but is set to drive the entire Global Rallycross Championship series in the United States. The Norwegian has signed a contract to become the first driver of the American team Michael Crawford Motorsports to drive his 550+bhp C30 in all seven 2012 rounds of the GRC, three of them are connected with X Games 18 to be held in Los Angeles. The former INDY Lights team, in cooperation with Frode Holte Motorsport and JRD Tuning (part of the Panoz Automotive Development Organisation), is looking forward to continue the development of the Volvo C30. The by the US based Swedes Niclas Jancic and Johan Ragnarsson established company JRD Tuning has just recently announced its new technology partnership agreement with Ingvar Gunnarsson Motorsport in Sweden, who will provide JRD exclusive rights to their proprietary technical designs.
