Doran rolls out

Liam Doran is out of the Czech ERC round after rolling his Citroën C4 in the Joker Lap of his third heat. Doran admitted that the crash was down to him being too fast. “I had a perfect start, but so did Mats [Lysen] and Tanner [Foust] and we were level in the first corner and Mats had the inside line,” said Doran, “I knew that I had to try something to pass Mats so I went in the Joker early but I was bit too fast, braked hard and locked a wheel, that sent the car wide and into the bank. The bank and barrier is hard there and it launched the car and then sent it back into the side, it was a lot of rolls.”
