Ken Block a turncoat?

In the run-up to the Rally Australia American WRC sporadic Ken Block told to a German colleague of mine the following: “To be able to compete with my World Rally Championship counterparts I still have to learn a lot. But this is only possible if I drive more often. However, I do not know yet how I should do that. I’m obliged to my partners and sponsors in the first place, and they want to see me racing in the US. Therefore it could be possible that I change over to the American Rallycross scene. Everything there is very compact, a motorsport completely to my taste. In the next couple of weeks we are going to talk about my 2012 programme and there are a lot of ideas and a couple of possibilities.”
