And then it gets wet

‘Wet race’ according to Clerk of the Course.

When the Supercars were called to come to the gate, the Clerk of the Course decided it was for a ‘wet race’. When Pavel Koutný hit the track banking it took some time before he was recovered from the track. During that time the rain was pouring down. That left the last cars setting a time in the official practice on a very wet track. A few minutes earlier in the paddock is was setting up the cars to wet weather conditions. Changing the tyres first – and then the driver was send out for a wet practice session.
