Four laps

New Skoda Fabia for Pavel Vimmer.

Still shiny and white is the brand new Skoda Fabia of Pavel Vimmer. Vimmer know of racing in the Super1600 Peugeot 206 is now racing a newly build Super1600 Skoda Fabia. “The car is coming from Zdenek Cermak”, says Vimmer. The car feels much better then the 206 says the owner of a Spa hotel in the Czech Republic (www.diana-ld.com). Driving time? “Just a few laps around the workshop and just finished four laps here”, smiles Vimmer who says that he is happy with the Fabia. The Super1600 car is build in the past months in the own workshop  at home in Františkovy Lázně in the Czech Republic. The 1600cc engine is coming from Lehmann Motortechnik and delivers around 200-225 bhp. “The same as in the Peugeot but on this car everything is new. The steering and the handling of the Fabia feels much better dan in the 206.” Vimmer is doing the ERC event in Belgium, Poland and in his homerace in the Czech Republic. The goal for this weekend is, “hopefully a C-final and it would be perfect to have a B.”
