Morstad, Skomedal and Marthinsen claim NRC round at the Lyngåsbane.

The second round of the Norwegian Rallycross Championship was held at the former ERC venue Lyngås Motorbane at Tranby i Lear near Drammen. Reigning Class 3 champion Terje Morstad claimed his first 2011 victory as well as taking over the first place in the point standings with 35 points. 2009 champion Stian Haugan is currently second with 34 points while Herbjørn Haug is third with 26 points.

The victory of the Class 2 went to Mazda RX-7 campaigner Roy Vidar Skomedal who entered the A final after he grabbed the second place in the B final. Runner-up to Skomedal became teenager Christian Sandmo, son of Rallycrosser and Hillclimber Johny Sandmo and grandson of allround-racer Roy Sandmo. With Andreas Bakkerud and Daniel Holten missing at Tranby the first place of the Class 1 was snatched from Alexander Hvaal and Thommy Tesdal by Trond Wilhelm Marthinsen.
