#13 — Lucky for some

by Tim Whittington |

Come in number 13.

Your ‘Uncle’ Henk had a great idea in France: “After the event we will choose a driver at random and ask them how their weekend was, let’s choose whoever finishes 13th,” said the wise old Dutchman. So, after the finals Henk wanted to know who had finished 13th and who it was he had to look for in the paddock. Imagine our joy when we checked the results and found that Samuel Peu, who speaks no English, was 13th. “Okay, okay, so who is 13th in Super1600?” asked De Winter trying to avoid the inevitable. To his horror, but the great amusement of everyone else, it was Maximilien Eveno who placed 13th in the class, so Henk went in search of Monsieur Peu…

Click the #13 logo to hear the result of an amusing interface between a Dutchman who speaks a little French, a Frenchman who speaks no Dutch and no English and a lovely French lady who had to try and make Peu understand what was going on. Oh, and being a cheeky monkey, Henk also tries to tell “Knapick” how to organise his team!
