Norway leads the lower classes

Bakkerud and Enerberg fastest.

Fastest in timed practice, Johan Larsson had to settle for second when he was beaten by Andreas Bakkerud in the first heat, however the pair were split by less than half a second as they crossed the line. Daniel Holten is becoming more comfortable with the Bossard C2, and was fourth. Ildar Rakhmatullin set ninth fastest time, even after a messy heat he will simply be glad to be going, the Set Promotion Team baffled by a misfire all day until now. Clemens Meyer had a failed oil pump in practice that created so much pressure that it fired off his Fabia’s oil filter. He was again luckless in the first heat, a coming together with Rakhmatullin in the first corner of his race damaging his rear suspension enough to force him out.

The TouringCar class was a straight forward affair. With such a small start list, there were only two grids of cars. Roman Častoral had to work hard to overtake the field in his race after a poor start and early joker. The next race was simple, Lars Øivind Enerberg lead from start to finish with champion Derek Tohill second. Enerbergs pace was such that when he jokered on the third lap it was enough to put himself back in front of Tohill, who didn’t joker himself until the final tour.
