British championship, Blyton

After two heats at Blyton, Julian Godfrey leads with fastest times from each race. David Binks was second in each, Kevin Procter third twice. Andy Scott has had a nightmare with the engine management system in his Peugeot failing. Andy Grant is also out of the event after the crankshaft oil seal in his Focus failed causing a small engine bay fire.
The third heat is just beginning as dusk gathers.
